IOS Spring Camps - 2024
We are offering 4 different camps to two different age groups this Spring: Recording Camp, Worship Camp, Rock Camp, and Songwriting/Song Structure Camp.
There'll be one camp for ages 10-13, and a second camp for ages 14-17.
All camps are $65. These camps are open to non-Inside Out students.
Spots are very limited, as we are only allowing five people per camp. However, for each camp, the first 2 people that ask can bring a friend that's not an IOS student for FREE.

Recording Camp 1
Ages 10-13: March 5th & 7th, 6:30-7:30
+ Saturday, March 9th, 4:00-5:30 p.m.
We will explore the 4 stages and roles of recording, including producing, engineering, mixing, and mastering, while we record a song from start to finish. Students will get hands on experience throughout.
Along the way, we'll also learn about the 3 heavy hitters of mixing - EQ, Compression, and Reverb. We'll learn about different types of microphones & recording techniques, and much, much more.
Recording Camp 2
Ages 14-17: March 12th & 14th, 6:30-7:30

Worship Camp 1
Ages 10-13: March 26th & 28th, 6:30-7:30
+ Saturday, March 30th, 4:00-5:30 p.m.
This Worship Camp is the perfect opportunity for aspiring worship leaders and artists to hone their craft. With group sessions, rehearsals, and instruction on techniques like how to transpose, how choose songs for the situation, we'll help you take your skills to the next level. Learn the importance of removing your "self," the art and heart of worship, how to lead a band, the "20 percent rule," and the importance of preparation.

Ages 14-17: April 2nd & 4th, 6:30-7:30

Rock Camp 1
Ages 10-13: April 9 & 11, 6:30-7:30
+ Saturday, April 13th, 4:00-5:30 p.m.
Welcome to Rock Camp, the ultimate rock experience for aspiring musicians! These group sessions are designed to teach you everything you need to know about the history of rock music, from the 1950s to the 2000s. You'll learn about the ways technology and innovation have influenced the genre throughout the years, and how the music industry's expectations have shaped what we know as rock today. Plus, we'll turn the amps up to 11 and make some noise together!
What is rock, and what are some of the sub-genres, and where did they come from? What bands pioneered rock into new waters, and influenced new generations, and set new standards to be followed? We'll be visiting all these things, and much, much more.
Rock Camp 2

Songwriting/Structure Camp
Ages 10-13: April 23 & 25, 6:30-7:30
+ Saturday, April 27th, 4:00-5:30 p.m.
Unlock your creativity and find your unique voice with our Songwriting and Song Structure Camp.You'll be guided through the process of writing a memorable, meaningful, and catchy song. From the rules of songwriting to the importance of finding your own voice, we'll cover everything you need to know. Join us for a hands-on experience that will take your songwriting skills to the next level.
